Moriah Elson Crow

Moriah is the 21 year old daughter of Johnny and Lisa Elson and the third member of the musical trio. She has been singing on stage with her family since she has been old enough to talk, but took over the full time vocal position in January 2014. Prior to that she was the rhythm guitar player for the group. She is a five year student of the Steve Hurst School of Music.

Lisa Elson

Lisa is the wife of Johnny Elson and is an original member of The Elsons. She and Johnny met in the church where he was musical director, and together along with another couple at the church formed a group called The Joint Heirs in the mid 1980's. That group eventually evolved into the group you now know as The Elsons

Johnny Elson

Johnny is an original member of The Elsons. He is featured on vocals and is the piano player for the group. He has been involved with gospel music his entire life as a singer, musician, studio producer/ engineer, and studio musician. Johnny has countless recording projects to his credit. He traveled throughout the United States with The Spearmen, a gospel group based out of Blacksburg SC. in the early 1980's before returning home and forming his own gospel music ministry. He has played with several other gospel bands.

Josh Jenkins

Josh is our 16 year old drummer. He has been playing with The Elsons for seven years. His artisiic ability isn't limited only to drumming. He plays piano as well and is also a great cake decorator.

Riley Crow

Riley is the newest member of The Elsons and the husband of Moriah Elson. He is 21 years old and is the bass guitar player for the group. He also fills in on keyboard, banjo, and electric lead. When not playing with The Elsons, he enjoys driving and working on his truck.

Jim Jenkins

Jim is the lead electric guitar player for The Elsons. His other musical talents include rhythm and bass guitar. He is the road manager for the group. So while the rest of us are chilling between concerts, Jim is working on directions to our next destination, checking out equipment, deciding our departure times, planning our food stops, and working out all other details needed to keep us efficient on the road. THANKS JIM. In his rarely found spare time, he is devoted to his family and home church.

"Uncle" Bill Toler

Uncle Bill has a long resume of ministry. He has been pastoring churches and evangelizing all over the United States since the early 1960's. He also traveled and played gospel music with his wife Linda and Johnny's mom Alice "Bootsie" Elson, and several other gospel bands. He simi-retired from preaching and teamed with his nephew by joining the Elsons in 2012. In 2017 he cut down to part time and travels with us as much as he can. He plays harmonica and mandolin for the group. He also plays several other instruments.and is a fine vocalist.

Larry Jenkins

Larry is a lead guitar player for The Elsons. He is a retired 24 year career Air Force Veteran who served in Vietnam as a flight engineer. He is also an ordained minister and pastors Harvest Baptist Church in Moundsville WV. When not performing his pastor duties and traveling with The Elsons, he likes keeping up with the NASCAR world.
